iPhone
Use 1320 x 2868 px for the highest 6.9 inch portrait target when you want one modern iPhone export.
iPad
Use 2064 x 2752 px for the 13 inch iPad portrait target when your app supports iPad.
Mac
Use 2880 x 1800 px for a clean 16:10 Mac landscape target.
Apple Watch
Use 410 x 502 px for the 49mm watch target if the app includes watchOS screenshots.
Why simulator screenshots fail
A simulator screenshot is not always the same as an accepted App Store Connect screenshot size. The simulator may capture a scaled window, status bar state, or device class that does not match the upload slot. Export from a fixed artboard instead of resizing an arbitrary screenshot after the fact.
Why it matters
App Store Connect rejects screenshots when the exported image does not match an accepted device size. Use this page when you see a screenshot dimension error during upload.
Upload checklist
- Pick the highest device class your app supports before exporting.
- Use an accepted App Store Connect screenshot size, not the raw simulator window size.
- Export PNG or JPEG in RGB color.
- Keep the same orientation across a device set unless the app is landscape-only.
- Upload iPhone, iPad, Mac, and watchOS screenshots only for the platforms your app supports.
